CIF Métal ltée, foundry building aluminum and
zinc-alloy
parts situated in Canada (Quebec), has different
format tilt-pour-process presses which can hold molds
up to 48" x 51" in dimension. For aluminum or zinc alloy parts with complex
design, we have a casting
table allowing ejection on six axes and the necessary
equipment
to produce sand and CO2 cores.
In addition to producing commercial castings, tight
control of our aluminum foundry production methods, combined with
the use of techniques such as aluminum degassing, allow us to
produce castings with good mechanical properties. Our
team's expertise guarantees you impeccable results.
Our primary materials undergo certified chemical analyses and
always come from solid and conscientious suppliers. In addition
to our own destructive tests, we do tension testing, X-rays, Brinell
and metallography tests in-house or through sub-contractors, as
required by our clients.
